Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Landscape Designer with 2-5 years of experience(min) in residential landscape design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing high-quality custom outdoor spaces, as well as experience preparing construction drawings. The ideal candidate thrives in a work environment that is dynamic and fast-paced. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and landscape professionals to create outdoor spaces that are both beautiful and practical for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop conceptual and final landscape designs for residential properties, ensuring alignment with client needs and site conditions.

2. Prepare site plans, planting plans, and construction documents using CAD and other design software.

3. Create hand sketches along with 2D and 3D visualizations to effectively communicate design ideas to both clients and installation crews.

4. Select appropriate materials, plants, and hardscape elements that align with our unique style.

5. Conduct site visits and client consultations to assess project requirements and gather necessary site information.

6. Communicate regularly with crews, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

7. Stay informed on local landscaping trends and other industry developments.

8. Work with clients in all phases of the sales and design process. 

9. Plan takeoffs and estimating

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture (not required), Landscape Design, or a related field.

– 2-5 years of experience(minimum) in residential landscape design 

– Proficiency in Structure Studios VIP3D is preferred. Experience in other CAD software is a plus.

– Strong hand sketching and rendering skills. Proficiency in hand rendering applications such as Concepts or Morpholio is preferred. 

– Strong knowledge of Utah plants. (preferred)

– Detail-oriented and organized.

– Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

– Excellent communication skills and a passion for client engagement.

– Strong personal initiative and responsibility

– Passion for creativity, outdoor spaces, and customer satisfaction

– Experience in project management and construction oversight is a plus.
